Terms of Use

1. About these terms

Tastibase (“Tastibase”, “we”, “us”) operates the website at tastibase.com. By accessing or using the site you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia.

2. What Tastibase provides

Tastibase publishes aggregate, AI-generated scores for dishes served at restaurants, derived from our own analysis of publicly available reviews. Scores, sentiment percentages, and mention counts are statistical estimates provided for general information and entertainment only. They are opinions and estimates, not statements of fact about any restaurant, and should not be your sole basis for any decision.

3. No verbatim review content

We do not reproduce the text of individual reviews, the identities of reviewers, or any personal data of reviewers. Underlying reviews remain the property of their authors and the platforms that host them. See How it works.

4. Third-party trademarks & independence

Tastibase is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google, Tripadvisor, Uber Eats, or any restaurant. All third-party names, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the businesses and platforms referred to.

5. Menu data & pricing

Menu items and prices, where shown, are sourced from third parties (such as Uber Eats), may be inaccurate or out of date, and are provided without warranty. Always confirm current menus and prices directly with the restaurant.

6. No warranty & limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tastibase is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its scores. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Acceptable use

You may not scrape, copy, or systematically extract data from Tastibase, attempt to disrupt the service, or use it for unlawful purposes.

8. Corrections & removals

Restaurant owners and other parties may request corrections or removal of a listing by emailing [email protected]. We aim to respond promptly.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the revised terms.
